3 Hour Picnic Excursion

Cost: £250 total boat hire cost, maximum 10 people

A beautiful meandering boat trip up past the picturesque villages of Wivenhoe and Rowhedge whilst enjoying a picnic onboard.

We start our journey taking a gentle relaxing boat ride to the harbour entrance where we then head North East up the River Colne passing many little creeks/tributaries off the main River. Winding up the creek we pass oysterbeds, marshes brimming with wildlife, quaint villages full of history, old working quays of the past until we reach Rowhedge where we turn round and take a slow ride back. During this trip you are welcome to bring along a picnic of your choice to enjoy onboard.

Please note; the price quoted is purely for the cost of the boat hire - no food or drinks are included in this price. All food and drinks are your responsibility to bring along yourself.

Also note; the duration of this trip is 3 hours, it is a non-stop trip, we do not have toilet facilities onboard so you will need to have a strong bladder or you will need to be comfortable using a bucket, if needs must, amongst your group members.
