Growing Up

Little Stanley is growing fast.

Just a sneaky photo of my little boy to show you all how big he is growing. I can't believe we are approaching 6 months already. He is a very happy little boy after a rough start; finally now diagnosed with cow's milk protein allergy and acid reflux, he is now medicated and a much happier boy. He can commando crawl, but would prefer to go straight for standing and walking if possible. He is pulling up on furniture and decides to let go and see how long he can balance for. While holding mummy or daddys hand, he will automatically put one foot in front of the other while standing so he is getting ready for walking very soon. Despite having been teething for virtually 5 months now, surprisingly, he still has no teeth poking through. He is exceptionally chatty and has so much to say - just like his mummy! Due to his food allergies and reflux we had to commence weaning early under the dieticians guidance and he is currently on carrots, parsnips, sweet potato and broccoli but it is quite clear that he has an exceptionally sweet tooth like his mummy as he wolfs down a banana, honeydew melon slices and biscotti biscuits!
