Unusual time of year to see the Shag. Usually we would see the odd shag amongst the creeks through the winter season, but this year we seem to have a resident shag bobbing on our Salcot moorings amongst the one hour creek excursion. I'm curious to know if this shag is alone or if it has a mate and we might see baby shaglings over the up and coming months (obviously thats what baby shags must be called if a baby duck is called a duckling!)
